Job Description

As a Principal Consultant-Software Development Engineer In Test at Genpact, your role as a QE Lead SDET will involve leading the quality engineering efforts, developing and executing comprehensive test plans, and ensuring the robustness of software products. You will collaborate closely with the development team to design and implement automated testing frameworks, mentor junior SDETs, and drive continuous improvement in testing processes. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the quality engineering team in designing, developing, and executing automated test plans and test cases. - Collaborate with the development team to understand product requirements and design test strategies. - Identify, isolate, and track bugs throughout the testing lifecycle. - Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to ensure adherence to quality standards. - Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements and potential issues. - Ensure that test plans and scripts are followed, and quality standards are met. - Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in software testing and assuring quality. Qualifications Required: Minimum Qualifications / Skills: - Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. - Experience in software testing and quality assurance, with a focus on test automation. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Strong communication and leadership skills. - Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Preferred Qualifications/ Skills: - Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and ATDD, BDD & TDD. - Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or C#. - Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG). - Familiarity with CI/CD practices.,
