Principal Consultant - Network and Security

As a skilled and experienced Network and Security Consultant at Wipro Limited, your role will involve evaluating security needs, designing robust security systems, and ensuring the protection of sensitive data. You will be responsible for evaluating enterprise network and security standards, designing and implementing security policies, responding to security breaches, and staying up to date on the latest intelligence to anticipate security threats. - Evaluate the enterprise network and security standards to create solutions meeting required benchmarks for new infrastructure setups. - Design and implement robust network and security policies and procedures to safeguard the enterprise infrastructure. - Install, configure, and upgrade security software such as CC, DS, RF, AS devices, on-prem and cloud FWs, and related networking solutions. - Train and mentor team members to enhance their skills and conduct Knowledge Exchange sessions for team improvement. - Respond to security breaches by providing incident response solutions. - Stay updated on the latest intelligence, including hackers" methodologies, to anticipate security threats. - Ensure compliance with changing laws and applicable regulations. - Technical expertise in Ethernet, Voice, Security, Cloud, VOIP, WIFI, etc. - Strong understanding of end-to-end network device setup to support existing infrastructure. - Experience in customer relationship management and interaction with internal and external customers. - Proficiency in data analysis tools, data gathering, reporting, data migrations, and storage solutions. - Mandatory knowledge of CISCO, HP infrastructure, and networking requirements for Azure, GCP, and AWS CSPs. - Preferred knowledge of CP and PA FWs (on-prem and cloud) along with VPC and Public Cloud setups. - Excellent presentation skills for interactions at multiple organizational levels. - Remarkable interpersonal skills including empathy, respectfulness, persuasiveness, and diplomacy. - Ability to multitask and deliver within specified timescales. - Preferred bachelor's degree or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years of related experience. - Fluency in English, including excellent written English.
