Principal – CBSE Residential School

We are seeking an experienced, visionary, and dedicated Principal to lead our CBSE-residential school in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing academic excellence, holistic development, administration, and fostering a safe and nurturing residential environment. The Principal must reside on campus and be available for the overall well-being of students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:Academic Leadership:

• Ensure full compliance with CBSE guidelines and policies.
• Drive academic planning, curriculum implementation, and continuous improvement in teaching methodologies.
• Supervise lesson plans, classroom management, and teacher performance.
• Organize regular academic audits, assessments, and reviews.

Administrative Duties:

• Oversee day-to-day school operations including academics, administration, infrastructure, and discipline.
• Develop annual budgets and ensure optimal resource utilization.
• Maintain accurate school records, reports, and compliance documentation.
• Coordinate with the school management committee and submit timely reports.

Residential Oversight:

• Ensure effective supervision of hostel life, discipline, hygiene, safety, and student well-being.
• Conduct regular meetings with wardens, house parents, and pastoral care staff.
• Organize student enrichment programs, evening study routines, and co-curricular activities.

Staff Management:

• Recruit, train, and mentor teaching and non-teaching staff.
• Foster a positive work culture with regular feedback, performance evaluations, and capacity-building workshops.
• Promote teamwork, accountability, and leadership among staff.

Student Development:

• Promote values-based education, emotional intelligence, and leadership among students.
• Handle student discipline with empathy and consistency.
• Maintain strong communication with students, parents, and guardians.

Parent & Community Relations:

• Act as the key liaison between parents, the school community, and the school board.
• Organize Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs), community events, and open houses.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Postgraduate degree (preferably in Education or a related field).
• B.Ed. is mandatory.
• Minimum 10 years of teaching experience and 5+ years in a leadership/administrative role in a CBSE school.
• Prior experience in a residential school setup is highly preferred.
