Job Description

As a Business/Functional/Application Consultant, your role involves leading software product business, functional & application requirement analysis and documentation, supporting business process development, configuration, implementation, testing & validation of software applications. **Key Responsibilities:** - Interact with client users and internal product owners to gather and author business, functional & non-functional requirements improvements for software products - Conduct workshops and pilots with clients for product requirement and implementations - Perform application installations, configurations, and business process mappings for drug safety and pharmacovigilance clients - Prioritize and manage issues/bugs in the ticketing management system (JIRA) - Conduct formal system validation (OQs, PQs, and IQs) and other SDLC documentation activities such as authoring Test Strategy, Test Plan, Traceability Matrix, Test Summary Report, etc. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelors degree from a reputable college like B.Tech., B.IT or similar - 5-8 years of total experience in the software industry with a minimum of 3 years in business and functional requirements analysis and authoring experience in the pharmacovigilance domain - Medium level knowledge of SQL - Knowledge of Drug Safety (Pharmacovigilance) domain - Familiarity with a leading Drug Safety System like Argus Safety, ArigG, etc. - Experience in system validation within the Pharmacovigilance or Drug Safety domain - Self-driven personality with the ability and interest to guide junior team members - Demonstrated proficiency in handling multiple projects and meeting deadlines - Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills - Good communication, presentation, and documentation skills In addition to the above requirements, you may also benefit from the following qualifications: - Knowledge of periodic/aggregate reporting (PBRER, DSUR, PADER, etc.) - Experience in business process mapping with clients - Experience in working with enterprise software applications - Working knowledge and experience of Oracle Database, Agile/JIRA, Confluence This role provides you with an opportunity to showcase your expertise in software product business analysis and functional requirements documentation within the pharmacovigilance domain.
