Principal Audio ML engineer

In this role, as a member of the Logitech Hardware Audio DSP and ML team, you will play a key part in developing and implementing real-time audio ML solutions to provide customers with innovative audio experiences. If you possess a strong understanding of Audio DSP and TinyML, this role offers you the opportunity to significantly impact the audio products we create. Your main responsibilities will include developing models and inference on resource-constrained platforms such as Tensilica DSP, ARM, and RISCV cores. You will also be accountable for optimizing and enhancing algorithm performance in real-world scenarios, showcasing creative solutions to complex challenges. Collaboration with cross-functional product teams to ensure the delivery of a seamless customer audio experience will be a crucial aspect of your role. Key Qualifications: - Leading a ML team with over 10 years of experience in audio signal processing/ML. - Hands-on experience in Tiny ML/Embedded ML, including porting neural network algorithms onto embedded targets using device-specific tools and inference APIs. - Deep understanding of on-device quantization techniques and neural network operators mapping to embedded hardware accelerators. - Strong programming skills in C and Python. - Familiarity with Deep Learning Audio Signal Processing approaches. Additional Skills: - Proficiency in Linux and Docker. - Knowledge of CMSIS NN, HIFI NNLib is a plus. - Understanding of audio measurements and standard evaluation metrics. - Experience in hardware product development from concept to mass production. - Audio listening skills and artifact detection. - Effective communication in a cross-functional environment. - Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities. - Familiarity with code version control practices.
