Principal Architect

Role Overview

As a Principal Architect, you will lead end-to-end project design and execution, mentor junior designers, coordinate with clients and consultants, and ensure that all work aligns with the firm's creative vision and quality standards. This is a leadership role requiring both creative expertise and project management skills.

Key Responsibilities

Lead architectural and interior design projects from concept to completion.

Interpret client requirements and translate them into functional, aesthetic design solutions.

Prepare and review design drawings, presentations, BOQs, and specifications.

Coordinate with consultants, contractors, vendors, and site teams.

Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure design integrity and quality.

Guide and mentor junior architects and designers.

Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and sustainability practices.

Manage timelines, budgets, and deliverables across multiple projects.

Present concepts and progress updates to clients and stakeholders.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Bachelors degree in Architecture or Interior Design (Master’s degree is a plus).

5–7 years of professional experience in architecture and/or interior design.

Strong portfolio showcasing completed projects across various scales.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office. Knowledge of Revit or other BIM tools is an advantage.

Excellent design sensibility and detailing skills.

Strong communication, leadership, and team management abilities.

Ability to handle multiple projects and work under deadlines.

Knowledge of local building regulations and material specifications. Role & responsibilities
