Primary English Teacher AY -2025 -26

Key Responsibilities:

Teaching & Learning

• Deliver well-structured and engaging English lessons aligned with the school curriculum.
• Teach foundational concepts including phonics, grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and creative writing.
• Use age-appropriate teaching strategies, activities, and learning aids to support student learning.
• Integrate digital tools, worksheets, and storytelling to enhance classroom engagement.

Planning & Assessment

• Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and weekly teaching schedules.
• Conduct formative and summative assessments to track student progress.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and share timely feedback with parents.

Classroom Management

• Create a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment.
• Manage classroom behaviour using constructive and school-approved strategies.
• Encourage participation, curiosity, and discipline among students.

Student Development

• Support students in improving their reading fluency, writing skills, and communication abilities.
• Identify learning gaps and provide appropriate remedial support.
• Encourage holistic development through storytelling, group activities, and language-based competitions.

Parent & Team Coordination

• Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and concerns.
• Work collaboratively with other teachers and coordinators to enhance the curriculum and teaching practices.
• Participate in school events, PTMs, trainings, workshops, and extracurricular activities.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in English / Education / B.Ed (mandatory).
• 2–5 years of experience teaching English at the Primary level (preferred).
• Strong command over spoken and written English.
• Good classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to use digital tools (MS Office, smartboard, online learning platforms).
• Passion for teaching young learners and fostering a love for the English language.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹11,407.62 - ₹35,000.00 per month
