Primary Engineer - Cooling Systems

As a CAD designer at Hitachi Energy, you will play a crucial role in cooling system projects by assisting Project / Senior engineers. Your primary responsibility will be to create 2D drawings from 3D models for manufacturing, assembly, and customer approval using Solid Edge CAD software. Your drawings will be reviewed by the Project / Senior engineer before submission to customers and production. Additionally, you will assist in CAD-component changes and conversions from supplier inputs. Key Responsibilities: - Create general arrangement and layout drawings of a cooling system from 3D models. - Prepare pipe assembly, manufacturing, support, and support structure drawings. - Generate assembly drawings and pump unit frame structure manufacturing drawings. - Update drawings and documents based on customer comments or as-built information. - Update PID-diagrams (2D) as per feedback. - Assist in CAD-component management. - Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines. - Demonstrate expertise in Mechanical strength, structural static and dynamic verification, and analysis. Qualifications Required: - Proficiency in CAD tools, with Solid Edge preferred and SolidWorks or Inventor acceptable. - 3-5 years of experience with a Diploma in Mechanical. - Communication skills using Microsoft Teams. - Effective communication with an easy-to-understand English accent. - Knowledge of Liquid Piping systems/components and welded structures is advantageous.
