Primary Computer science teacher

Position: Primary Computer Science Teacher

Responsibilities

• Teach basic computer skills (MS Office, typing, internet usage, coding basics, etc.) to primary grade students.
• Design fun and interactive lessons to build digital literacy.
• Guide students in using educational software and safe internet practices.
• Encourage creativity through projects, presentations, and simple coding activities.
• Maintain computer lab equipment and ensure proper usage by students.
• Collaborate with other teachers to integrate technology into classroom learning.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / IT or related field.
• B.Ed. preferred.
• Prior teaching experience in primary classes is desirable.
• Strong knowledge of basic computer applications and child-friendly teaching methods.
• Excellent communication skills in English, with patience and enthusiasm for young learners.

Location: Mangadu, Chennai
Salary: As per school norms

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
