As a Primary Care Physician with Fenway Health, you will be joining a team dedicated to providing high-quality, comprehensive, and affirming healthcare to the LGBTQIA+ community in New England. Fenway Health is an FQHC that emphasizes an integrated care philosophy, viewing each patient as a whole person. Located near Bostons historic Fenway Park, our outpatient clinical headquarters serves a diverse patient population, including the LGBTQ community, BIPOC communities, and individuals living with HIV/AIDS. Your responsibilities as a Primary Care Physician will include providing direct medical services to patients, such as conducting physical exams, interpreting tests, formulating diagnosis and treatment plans, and prescribing medication. Additionally, you will conduct psychosocial screening and evaluation, as well as provide supervision to mid-level practitioners and trainees to support their diagnosis and treatment plans. Fenway Health offers a range of benefits to its employees, including generous paid time off, comprehensive health and dental insurance with 100% employer contribution, base salary with incentive bonuses, state-of-the-art equipment and clinical space, and a full support team of medical assistants, licensed practical nurses, and registered nurses. You will also have the opportunity for a prestigious academic affiliation and potential faculty appointment, as well as access to an employee wellness program. To qualify for this position, you must have an MD or DO degree, a current Massachusetts medical license, and board eligibility or certification in family medicine, internal medicine, or medicine/pediatrics. You should also have current AAHIVM credentials or be able to obtain them within 2 years of hire. A key requirement is your willingness to contribute to Fenway's efforts in becoming an anti-racist organization and fostering a culture of humility, equity, diversity, inclusion, and belonging. The working conditions for this role involve exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues, and physical requirements include sitting, using hands, reaching, talking, hearing, lifting up to 10 lbs, and occasionally lifting up to 25 lbs. Vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level is typically quiet. This position is part of a Fenway Health bargaining unit represented by 1199 SEIU United Healthcare Workers East. Salary for this role ranges from $205,000 to $262,500 per year, based on experience post training. Fenway Health encourages applications from LGBTQIA+ identified individuals, Black, Indigenous, and other people of color (BIPOC), and those from historically underrepresented communities.,
