Role & responsibilities

Review pressure vessel MDBs according to applicable codes (EN 13445 or ASME VIII) to verify conformity, completeness, and traceability of materials, processes, and tests.
Review of Manufacturing Data Books (MDB) and ensure all manufacturing documentation meets PED requirements.
Identify and resolve any deviations or missing information prior to final approval.
Issue or review technical reports related to pressure vessels.
Prepare and submit documentation to SGS Portugal or other notified bodies for final CE marking approval.
Maintain accurate records of reviews, approvals, and comments.
Review PQRs (Procedure Qualification Records) and WPS (Welding Procedure Specifications) to ensure compliance with applicable codes.
Review welder qualification records to ensure conformity with standards.
Coordinate updates or revisions as required.
Advise design and manufacturing teams on regulatory requirements and required documentation for CE marking.
Ensure that all inspections, non-destructive testing (NDT), and pressure tests are properly documented.
Stay updated on changes in codes, pressure vessel standards, and industry best practices.

Preferred candidate profile

Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering.
Minimum 2 years of experience in QA/QC on pressure vessel main international codes (ASME VIII, EN13445), experience on welding and NDT standards and files creation and/or revision
