Job Description

As a Sr. Press Tool Designer, your main role will involve performing sheet metal component feasibility studies, designing and detailing press tools, and creating drawings in 2D & 3D along with Bill of Materials. Your key responsibilities will include: - Conducting sheet metal component feasibility studies - Designing and detailing for press tools - Designing die layout for stage and progressive tools - Creating drawings in 2D & 3D and Bill of Materials - Generating final drawings for die elements and assembly details - Selecting raw materials and creating Bill of Materials for raw material, individual components, and assembly - Designing press tools such as Blanking, Piercing, Restricting, Forming, Bending, and Progressive press Tools - Applying GD & T principles effectively - Leading all activities of tool design & development from conceptual through detail phases, providing post-design support to development & Proving - Designing tools for critical press parts with high tolerance - Designing progressive die & multi-stage tool Essential Responsibilities - Being an expert in 3D modeling (Cimatron software knowledge would be an added advantage) You will be working in Chennai and will be responsible for all aspects of tool design and development, ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the process.,
