Job Description

POST : PRESS OPERATOR
Machine setup: Calibrating and preparing presses for a job by installing parts like plates or dies, and adjusting settings based on job specifications.
Operation: Operating machinery to cut, shape, print, or form materials, and monitoring the process to ensure it runs correctly.
Quality control: Inspecting finished products for defects, ensuring they meet quality standards, and making adjustments as needed.
Maintenance and troubleshooting: Performing routine maintenance and cleaning on the equipment, and diagnosing and resolving mechanical issues as they arise.
Material handling: Loading raw materials into the press and handling finished products.
Safety: Adhering to all safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Record keeping: Maintaining production and quality logs.

Key skills and knowledge

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and job drawing to set up machines accurately.
Strong attention to detail to ensure product quality.
Technical understanding of the specific type of press being operated (e.g., digital, offset, hydraulic, mechanical).
Problem-solving skills to troubleshoot machine malfunctions.
Familiarity with safety procedures and protocols.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
