Preschool Teacher / Head Teacher

As a Preschool Teacher / Head Teacher, you will be reporting to the Centre Director and working for 9 hours from Monday to Friday, with alternate Saturdays being a half-day working schedule. The minimum qualification required for this role is 15 years of education, which can be a combination of PUC along with any graduation or a 3-year diploma, or PUC along with NTT/MTT/Early childhood development courses. Your primary responsibility will be to provide a fun and enriching learning environment that caters to the cognitive, physical, personal, social, and emotional developmental needs of the children under your care. You should also act as a team player and a role model for your team of teachers and staff by demonstrating the right values and code of conduct during planning and executing sessions, events, trips, interactions with parents and vendors, and other center-related activities. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver engaging learning sessions to children based on the approved lesson plan, ensuring that classes are both fun and enriching through creative and out-of-the-box activities. - Plan and implement lesson plans and activities in advance, keeping children constructively engaged throughout the learning session. - Maintain necessary reports and records for each child, effectively utilizing available resources and minimizing wastage. - Enhance the appeal of the center/class with age-appropriate displays, learning resources, and engaging activities. - Adhere to school policies, maintain regular communication with parents, conduct observations and assessments of children, and ensure the safety, health, hygiene, and security of all children. - Collaborate with colleagues to ideate, plan, and execute events, trips, celebrations, etc., as per the Events Calendar. - Provide guidance to assistant teachers and support staff, giving feedback as needed, and promptly notifying the center head of any areas of concern. - Engage with parents to discuss children's progress and maintain regular and relevant communication with them. *Female candidates only* Other Benefits: - Employee Insurance - Yearly increment - Attendance Bonus - 2 Saturdays off and Sundays off This position is open to freshers who are eager to establish a career in the teaching profession.
