As a Tool Room Die Maker, you will be responsible for manufacturing, repairing, and maintaining precision components, tools, and dies to ensure accuracy within a tolerance of 0.01 mm. This role requires a hands-on professional capable of independently managing all aspects of tool room operations. Your key responsibilities will include independently operating and maintaining Lathe and Surface Grinding machines to produce precision components. You will manufacture, assemble, and repair high-precision tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, and components while ensuring that finished components meet exact specifications and tolerances of 0.01 mm or better. In addition, you will be responsible for setting up, programming (if CNC), and operating all tool room machinery, including milling machines, lathes, surface grinders, and other equipment. You will machine and finish components from raw materials, ensuring high-quality finishes and precise dimensions. As part of your role, you will use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and CMM machines to inspect and verify dimensions. Key Responsibilities: Set up, operate, and monitor VMC machines in the toolroom. Interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and technical specifications.
