Job Title: Pre-Primary Teacher

Location: Orchids The International School, Hinjewadi

Employment Type: Full-time

Salary: 2-3.5lpa

Roles and Responsibilities:

Conduct engaging and interactive lessons for pre-primary students (Nursery, Jr. KG, Sr. KG) using the schools curriculum and teaching methods.

Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials in alignment with the school’s early childhood education framework.

Foster a safe, positive, and nurturing environment that supports the physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development of children.

Observe and monitor children’s performance, behavior, and development.

Plan and organize activities such as storytelling, rhymes, art & craft, dance, and play-based learning.

Maintain proper communication with parents regarding their child’s progress and participate in parent-teacher meetings.

Ensure the health, hygiene, and safety of children within the school premises.

Key Skills Required:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to engage young children through innovative and creative teaching techniques.

Patience and a caring attitude towards children.

Good classroom management skills.

Qualifications and Experience:

Graduate in any discipline (preferably in Early Childhood Education or similar).

Diploma / Certification in Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) or Montessori Training preferred.

Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Pre-Primary Teacher (Freshers with training in ECCE/Montessori can also apply).
