Key Responsibilities:

1. Instructional Planning and Delivery:

• Develop and implement lesson plans that meet curriculum requirements and cater to diverse student needs.
• Employ a variety of teaching methodologies to accommodate different learning styles.
• Integrate technology and interactive activities to enhance learning experiences.

2. Classroom Management:

• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Establish and enforce rules for student behavior and maintain classroom discipline.
• Ensure the physical and emotional safety of all students while managing classroom resources effectively.

3. Assessment and Evaluation:

• Design and administer assessments to evaluate student progress and understanding.
• Maintain accurate records of students' academic performance and attendance.
• Provide timely and constructive feedback to students and parents on academic and behavioral performance.

4. Professional Development:

• Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated with educational best practices.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance instructional strategies and share resources.
• Attend faculty meetings, workshops, and school events as required.

5. Student Support and Guidance:

• Identify individual student learning needs and provide additional support where necessary.
• Offer academic guidance and mentorship to help students achieve their educational goals.
• Maintain open communication with parents and guardians to discuss student progress and concerns.

6. School and Community Involvement:

• Actively participate in school-wide events, extracurricular activities, and community initiatives.
• Serve on school committees and contribute to overall school improvement efforts.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, colleagues, and the broader community.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant subject area.

Certification:

• Valid state teaching certification for the subject and grade level.

Experience:

• Previous teaching experience at the school level preferred.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of the subject matter and curriculum standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students.
• Proficiency in classroom management and student assessment techniques.
• Competency in using educational technology and software.
