Job Purpose: Lead Business Development and Engineering to drive revenue growth, acquire new customers, and deliver technically and commercially competitive solutions across FRP/GRP, Metal Fabrication, PU Foam, and Plastic Moulding products. Reporting To: Managing Director Responsibilities: Business Development: Acquire new customers and develop opportunities across target sectors (wind energy, railways, marine, automotive). Lead pricing, contract negotiations, and strategic agreements. Engineering & Documentation: Oversee feasibility studies, costing, and quotations. Review customer technical requirements and guide solutions. Ensure timely proposals, documentation, and compliance with quality and legal standards. Team Leadership & Strategic Contribution: Lead and develop the Sales & Engineering team (5+ team members). Allocate resources, delegate work, and build a performance culture. Support planning, budgeting, and market expansion. Provide insights on competition, pricing, and technology trends. Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Behaviours: Education – Graduate or Post Graduate in Engineering Experience – 10+ years Skills: · Strong understanding of B2B industrial sales, ideally in FRP/GRP, Plastic Moulding and related product & processes · Experience in new customer acquisition · Proficient in pricing strategies, cost estimation, and contract negotiations · Capable of coordinating and mentoring team members · Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills · Skilled at building and maintaining long-term customer relationships · Self-starter with the ability to define and refine a strategy for effective results. Travel Requirement: Approximately 50% to 70% travel is required for client visits, project discussions, and business development activities. Preference: · Candidates with experience in the composites (FRP/GRP), Plastic Moulding or allied manufacturing industries are strongly preferred. · Male candidates are preferred due to the nature of client interactions, frequent travel, and on-site coordination.
