Job Summary:

The Senior PPC Engineer will be responsible for overseeing production planning, scheduling, and inventory control activities to ensure smooth manufacturing operations and timely delivery. The role involves close coordination with production, purchase, stores, and quality departments to achieve optimum utilization of resources and adherence to customer delivery schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and implement daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer orders and forecasts.
  
• Coordinate with the production team to ensure adherence to the production schedule.
  
• Monitor work-in-progress (WIP) and take corrective actions to avoid bottlenecks or delays.
  
• Optimize machine loading and manpower allocation for maximum efficiency.
  
• Liaise with the purchase and stores teams to ensure the availability of raw materials and components.
  
• Track production performance against plan and analyze deviations.
  
• Maintain and update production reports, MIS, and capacity utilization data.
  
• Coordinate with the Quality and Maintenance departments for timely resolution of issues affecting production flow.
  
• Support new product development (NPD) and trial runs as per customer requirements.
  
• Ensure timely dispatch of finished goods in coordination with the logistics team.
  
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives in planning and process control.
  
• Work with ERP / MRP systems for production and material planning.

Skills :

• SAP knowledge on production planning & MRP Control.
• Knowledge on BOM Updation Logistics movement(in& Out) and coordinating shipments
• Knowledge of lATF-16949, OHSAS, KAIZAN, EMS
