PPC -Material handling (Line supply / Receiving ) - Shopfloor

Job Description: As a Production Planning Control - Material Handling at Kia India, you will play a crucial role in managing materials and components efficiently across the supply chain. Your main responsibilities will include receiving incoming materials, organizing them for production lines, and ensuring timely supply to different departments. You will collaborate with various teams to optimize material flow, maintain inventory accuracy, and uphold safety and quality standards. Additionally, you will conduct audits, manage inventory levels, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities: - Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials based on established procedures. - Manage inventory levels and coordinate material supply to production lines. - Ensure timely delivery of materials to support production schedules. - Safely and efficiently operate material handling equipment. - Maintain accurate documentation of received and supplied materials. - Collaborate with production and logistics teams to address material shortages or discrepancies. - Participate in inventory audits and cycle counts to uphold inventory accuracy. - Assist in implementing lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives related to material handling. Qualifications Required: - Strong organizational and time management skills. - Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. - Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. - Problem-solving skills to resolve material-related issues. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
