PPC Engineer

Role & responsibilities

Production Planning

• Develop and maintain

  daily, weekly, and monthly production plans

  based on sales forecasts and customer orders
• Prepare

  master production schedules (MPS)

  for parts or assemblies
• Coordinate with engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams to meet production targets

Production Control

• Monitor production progress and ensure adherence to schedules
• Identify bottlenecks, delays, or capacity constraints and implement corrective actions
• Track key production metrics such as output, efficiency, and downtime

Material Planning & Inventory Control

• Coordinate with procurement and stores to ensure

  timely availability of raw materials and components

• Maintain optimal inventory levels to minimize shortages and excess stock
• Work with suppliers and logistics teams to manage delivery schedules

Coordination & Communication

• Act as a liaison between

  production, purchasing, quality, logistics, and sales teams

• Communicate production priorities and changes effectively across departments
• Support new product launches and engineering changes from a planning perspective

Reporting & Systems

• Prepare reports, capacity utilization reports, and inventory status updates
• Use

  MRP systems, PP and MM Module

  (SAP) for planning and tracking

Mandatory Skills

Proficiency in ERP - SAP preferably for MRP run & PP module activities, Strong data analysis skills are necessary for monitoring production metrics, inventory levels, and performance. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel & PPT and other data analysis tools is a must for this role, Strong knowledge of quality management systems/IATF16949, Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with external/internal customers & CFT.
