Job Title: Powertrain Design Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Powertrain Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical or automobile engineering, with experience in creating new drawings, vehicle packaging, engineering change management, and stack-up analysis. This role involves working with driveline components and ensuring their optimal integration into vehicle designs.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain master cross sections and layouts for driveline components such as half shafts, drive shafts, axles, and mounts.
• Conduct packaging, clearance/interference, and design rule checks for powertrain/driveline components.
• Update 3D models and drawings in response to engineering change requests.
• Check drawing prints in accordance with drafting standards.
• Perform stack-up analysis (linear, axial/radial, and fastener) for powertrain systems and subsystems.
  

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in powertrain design and analysis.
• Experience with DPA and engine components.
• Ability to perform stack-up analysis.
• Proficient in CATIA software.
  

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering.
• 2 to 6 years of experience in engine components.
• Strong communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
