Technical Sales Engineer (JMAG Electromagnetic Simulation Software) bengaluru 0 - 3 years INR 2.5 - 4.0 Lacs P.A. Work from Office Full Time

We are seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to manage the complete sales lifecycle of JMAG in India from lead generation to customer onboarding. The role blends technical knowledge with sales acumen , ideal for candidates who enjoy working with engineers, solving challenges, and driving business growth. Key Responsibilities 1. Lead Generation & Prospecting Identify potential clients across automotive, electrical, industrial, and academic sectors. Research key decision-makers and maintain a CRM database of leads. Develop a pipeline through calls, emails, LinkedIn, events, and partner networks. 2. Customer Engagement & Qualification Understand client challenges and simulation needs. Qualify leads based on technical and commercial fit. Develop tailored value propositions for different customer segments. 3. Product Presentation & Demonstration Deliver product presentations and demos. Explain JMAGs technical advantages and coordinate technical evaluations. 4. Proposal & Negotiation Prepare quotations and licensing options. Manage pricing, procurement, and negotiation processes. 5. Sales Closure & Order Management Drive end-to-end sales from proposal to PO closure. Ensure timely invoicing and achieve quarterly sales targets. 6. Customer Relationship Management Build long-term client relationships and support renewals or upselling. Represent Powersys at industry conferences and seminars. 7. Reporting & Collaboration Collaborate with internal teams on strategy and campaigns. Maintain sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates. Required Qualifications B.E./B.Tech or M.Tech in Electrical/Electronics Engineering . 03 years experience in technical or CAE software sales , or motor design/simulation . Understanding of electromagnetics, FEA concepts, and motor design . Familiarity with JMAG, ANSYS Maxwell, or Motor-CAD preferred. Strong communication and presentation skills. Self-driven and target-oriented. Preferred Skills Experience in software or engineering sales. Knowledge of CRM tools (HubSpot, Zoho, etc.).
