Role DescriptionQuality Strategy & LeadershipDefine and implement the Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) strategy in alignment with the company's operational and customer requirements.Lead the quality team across fabrication, assembly (genset & lighting tower), and supplier quality functions.Establish and drive a culture of continuous improvement and zero-defect manufacturing.Process and System ManagementDevelop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), quality manuals, and inspection protocols.Drive implementation and compliance of ISO 9001, CE Certification, and other relevant quality systems.Manage quality gates across incoming, in-process, and final inspection.Supplier Quality AssuranceAudit, evaluate, and improve supplier quality systems and processes.Collaborate with procurement and design teams to ensure component compliance and traceability.Implement incoming material inspection systems and vendor rating mechanisms.Customer Quality and SupportHandle customer complaints, root cause analysis, CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions), and product recalls (if any).Conduct quality performance reviews and data analysis for customer returns, rejections, and warranty claims.Cross-functional CoordinationCollaborate with design, production, procurement, and service teams for new product introduction (NPI), quality planning, and field feedback integration.Lead internal and external audits (regulatory and client-based).Team DevelopmentBuild and mentor a strong QA/QC team with defined KPIs, training programs, and performance metrics.Promote awareness of quality objectives throughout the organization. QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial Engineering; Master’s degree preferred.Minimum 10–15 years of experience in quality management within manufacturing, preferably in gensets, electrical equipment, or capital goods.Strong knowledge of ISO standards, quality tools (FMEA, 5 Why, 8D, SPC, etc.), and certification processes.Hands-on experience in fabrication, welding inspection, electrical and mechanical assembly inspection.Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
