Power Electronics Expert

You will work under the guidance of the Incubator AC battery Leader to ensure technical alignment. Your responsibilities will include: - Running detailed analysis on the existing power electronic boards developed by the Incubator. - Designing schematics of electronic board functions such as snubber, high-current switching, over-current detection, and over-voltage limiters. - Designing board layouts while considering system integration requirements. - Assembling the 1st prototype board in the electronic lab. - Organizing the assembly process of consolidated board designs by a local prototype EMS. - Testing prototype boards in the electronic lab. - Supporting the AC battery prototype team to test new power boards on batteries. - Creating a local electronic lab to develop and test prototype boards. You will be responsible for documenting power electronics design and validation activities with clarity and precision. Additionally, you will prepare and deliver regular progress reports to both hierarchical and functional managers. You are expected to participate actively in Saft's Electronic Technical Circles to share knowledge and best practices. You will provide technical feedback and insights to improve electronic design methodologies. Furthermore, you will monitor the state-of-the-art on power electronics for battery-related topics, particularly on multi-level converters. **Technical Knowledge:** **Mandatory:** - Proficiency in Electronic board designs with high current (>100A RMS). - Experience in high-power switching devices such as MOSFETs. - Solid knowledge of converter topologies, including multi-level converters. - Knowledge of snubber circuits, transient limiters, and over-current detection. - Experience with PCB design tools such as Altium Designer. **Nice-to-have:** - Experience with industrial converters development. - Experience with automotive electronic boards development. - Knowledge of battery technologies and Battery Management Systems (BMS).,
