Job Description

We are seeking a skilled PowerBuilder Developer with strong hands-on experience in developing and maintaining enterprise applications using PowerBuilder IDE (Classic and/or .NET). The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of DataWindow objects, PowerScript, and SQL programming. You will be responsible for enhancing legacy systems, resolving production issues, and ensuring overall application performance and stability.
Key responsibilities include developing new features, troubleshooting existing modules, and integrating PowerBuilder applications with external systems via SOAP and RESTful web services. The role also requires expertise in performance tuning, memory management, and identifying bottlenecks to maintain application efficiency and responsiveness.You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, QA, and infrastructure support to gather requirements, test solutions, and ensure successful deployments. Familiarity with version control systems and change management processes is a plus.This role is best suited for candidates who are detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive in diagnosing complex issues within legacy codebases. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or within a team environment are essential. Prior experience in financial or enterprise business applications will be considered an advantage.
