Power BI & SQL Expert (Trainer)

You will be an essential part of our data team as a skilled Power BI and SQL Expert. Your main responsibilities will include developing interactive dashboards, managing large datasets, writing complex SQL queries, and providing actionable business insights. Your key tasks will involve designing, developing, and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI, as well as writing, optimizing, and troubleshooting complex SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and transform them into technical specifications. Additionally, you will be responsible for performing data validation to ensure data accuracy across reports, building and maintaining data models and ETL pipelines, monitoring data refresh schedules, and resolving data load issues. Providing insights and recommendations through data visualizations and analysis will also be part of your role, along with documenting report logic, KPIs, and data model structures. To qualify for this position, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, along with at least 3 years of hands-on experience with Power BI and SQL. Proficiency in DAX and Power Query (M Language), a strong understanding of relational databases and data warehousing concepts, and experience with data sources like SQL Server, Excel, Azure, or APIs are required. Moreover, you should possess the ability to translate business requirements into impactful visuals, strong problem-solving and analytical skills, as well as excellent communication and documentation skills. Preferred qualifications include experience with cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud, knowledge of Python or R for data analysis, and familiarity with other BI tools such as Tableau or Qlik.
