Power BI QA Engineer P&C Insurance

As a Power BI QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and quality of BI dashboards and reports within the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance domain. Your expertise in testing Power BI reports, validating data models, and maintaining data quality across ETL layers and business KPIs will be crucial for this role. **Key Responsibilities:** - Perform functional, UI, data, and regression testing on Power BI dashboards and reports. - Validate DAX calculations, data models, measures, and KPI logic. - Test data pipelines, ETL workflows, and source-to-target mappings to ensure accuracy. - Collaborate with BI developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to maintain data integrity. - Develop detailed test cases, test scenarios, and defect reports. - Ensure that all reports comply with P&C insurance business processes, metrics, and regulatory requirements. **Required Skills:** - Strong experience in QA/testing of Power BI dashboards and data models. - Proficiency in SQL for data validation and backend testing. - Good grasp of P&C insurance concepts such as policy, claims, underwriting, premiums, losses, and reserves. - Familiarity with ETL/data warehouse testing and BI lifecycle. - Exposure to reporting validation tools, test management tools, or automation will be advantageous.,
