Key Responsibilities:

Data & BI Strategy Leadership:

• Lead the development and execution of the corporate MIS & Reporting strategy, including the

underlying data and application architecture across the organization. A strong understanding of

modern data lake and data warehouse solutions, ETL frameworks, and consumption and

visualization through Power BI is essential for this role.

• Manage, Mentor, and coach a team of Power BI Developers and Data Analysts.

• Partner with business leaders to define key business questions and translate them into robust,

scalable reporting solutions.

• Establish best practices for data modeling, visualization design, report performance tuning, and

security within the Power BI Service.

Power BI Development & Architecture:

• Design and develop complex Power BI reports, dashboards, and interactive visualizations using

advanced features (e.g., DAX, calculated tables/columns).

• Oversee the end-to-end data flow for BI solutions, including data sourcing, ETL/ELT processes, and

validation of data integrity.

• Manage the Power BI environment (Gateway, Capacity, Licenses, App Workspaces) and ensure

optimal performance and stability.

• Develop and maintain data models that integrate data from multiple sources (e.g., SAP, SQL

databases, cloud data lakes).

Governance & Training:

• Lead governance meetings focused on data quality, reporting standards, and the prioritization of new

BI initiatives.

• Coordinate the Power BI deployment lifecycle, including development, testing, and production

environments.

• Develop and deliver internal training and documentation to promote Power BI self-service

capabilities among business users.

Domain Knowledge:

• Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Power BI (Desktop, Service, Report Server), including

advanced DAX and M-Query development.

• Strong expertise in data modeling and query optimization for large datasets.

• Solid experience with SQL for data extraction and manipulation.

• Familiarity with the Microsoft Azure data ecosystem (e.g., Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory) is

highly desirable.

• Proven ability to lead and motivate a technical team, manage stakeholder expectations, and drive

strategic BI initiatives.

Qualifications:
