Job Description

As an ideal candidate for the Power BI Developer position, you will be responsible for the following key responsibilities: - Designing, developing, and maintaining interactive Power BI reports and dashboards using Power BI Desktop. - Building DAX measures and calculated columns for data analysis and KPIs. - Utilizing Power Query (M Language) to clean, transform, and prepare data for reporting. - Developing and maintaining data models with proper relationships, hierarchies, and key performance indicators (KPIs). - Integrating and connecting data from multiple sources including SQL Server, Excel, SharePoint, REST APIs, and cloud services. - Configuring and managing On-premises Data Gateways for data refresh and troubleshooting. - Collaborating with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into analytical solutions. - Working with Power Automate to create workflows for automated notifications, alerts, and report distribution. In addition to the key responsibilities mentioned above, the following qualifications are required for the role: - Strong hands-on experience with Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service. - Proficiency in DAX for calculated measures and KPIs. - Solid understanding of data modeling principles such as relationships, normalization, and star schema. - Working knowledge of SQL for querying and transforming data. - Experience using Power Query / M language. - Familiarity with On-premises Data Gateway setup and management. - Knowledge of Power Automate and its integration with Power BI.
