Power BI Developer

Job Summary:

• We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Power BI Developer to support our Application Rationalization initiative, focused on migrating analytics solutions from SAP HANA to Snowflake.
• The ideal candidate will have strong experience in data visualization, dashboard development, and data modeling, with a solid understanding of enterprise data platforms and cloud-based analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective data visualizations.
• Work closely with data engineers and architects to ensure seamless integration of data from Snowflake.
• Migrate existing reports and dashboards from SAP HANA to the new Snowflake-based architecture.
• Optimize Power BI performance and implement best practices in data modeling and DAX.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security across all reporting solutions.
• Document solutions and provide training or support to end users as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Power BI development.
• Strong knowledge of DAX, Power Query, and data modeling techniques.
• Experience working with Snowflake and/or SAP HANA.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in application rationalization or cloud migration projects.
• Knowledge of Azure Data Services or other cloud platforms.
• Understanding of supply chain or enterprise business processes is a plus.
