Power Bi Developer

Role & responsibilities

• Design develop and maintain advanced Power BI reports dashboards and data models tailored to the needs of business units across the organization.
• Implement best practices in Power BI development including efficient data modeling DAX calculations and visualization techniques.
• Transform intricate data from multiple sources into actionable visualizations ensuring clarity accuracy and business relevance.
• Lead endtoend data integration including extraction transformation and loading ETL processes using Power Query Dataflows and Azure Data Factory.
• Collaborate with data engineers and architects to ensure availability quality and governance of data sources.
• Develop and maintain robust data pipelines to support scalable analytics solutions.
• Engage with business stakeholders to understand analytical needs translate them into technical requirements and deliver meaningful insights.
• Facilitate workshops requirements sessions and training for both technical and nontechnical audiences.
• Present findings and strategic recommendations to executives and senior management.
• Monitor and tune Power BI solutions for optimal performance scalability and user experience.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks in data processing model design and report rendering.
• Implement data governance policies including access control data privacy and compliance with organizational standards
  

Preferred candidate profile:

• 8 to 10 years of hands on experience designing and implementing Business Intelligence and analytics solutions with at least 5 years focused on Power BI.
• Advanced proficiency in Power BI including DAX Power Query M Language data modeling and visualization best practices.
• Strong experience with SQL databases data warehousing concepts and data integration tools eg Azure Data Factory SSIS.
• Expertise in integrating disparate data sources on premises cloud APIs into unified analytics solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders with exceptional presentation and storytelling skills.
• Experience with data governance security and compliance frameworks in a corporate environment.
• Proven track record of leading BI projects and mentoring junior team members
