Job Summary

As a Sr. Developer you will be responsible for designing developing and implementing data solutions using Power BI Service MS Power BI MS Excel and SQL. You will work in a hybrid model collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance data-driven decision-making processes. Your expertise will contribute to optimizing business operations particularly within the Life and Annuities Insurance domain.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement data models and reports using Power BI Service to support business decision-making processes.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications for data solutions.
Utilize MS Power BI to create interactive dashboards and visualizations that provide actionable insights.
Analyze and interpret complex data sets using MS Excel to identify trends and patterns that drive business strategies.
Design and maintain SQL databases to ensure data integrity and accessibility for reporting purposes.
Optimize database queries and performance to enhance the efficiency of data retrieval and processing.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Power BI and SQL-related issues to ensure seamless operations.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate data solutions into existing business processes.
Ensure compliance with data governance and security protocols to protect sensitive information.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve data solutions.
Contribute to the development of best practices and standards for data management and reporting.
Engage in knowledge sharing and training sessions to enhance team capabilities and expertise.
Support the Life and Annuities Insurance domain by providing insights that improve customer experience and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

Demonstrate proficiency in Power BI Service MS Power BI MS Excel and SQL to deliver high-quality data solutions.
Possess strong analytical skills to interpret complex data sets and provide actionable insights.
Have experience in database design and management to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
Show expertise in creating interactive dashboards and visualizations using MS Power BI.
Exhibit knowledge of data governance and security protocols to protect sensitive information.
Experience in the Life and Annuities Insurance domain is a plus enhancing the ability to provide industry-specific insights.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to integrate data solutions into business processes.

Certifications Required

Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate SQL Certification
