Analyse existing legacy database schemas and data structures to design equivalent, optimized data models on Azure (Azure SQL, Synapse, Data Lake). Define conceptual, logical, and physical data models, mapping legacy entities/relationships to modern cloud-native structures while preserving data integrity. Collaborate with data engineers and architects to validate migration mappings, transformation logic, and performance/scalability of the new models. 4+ years' data modeling experience required, with hands-on exposure to legacy system migration and Azure data platforms.
