Job Summary
This hybrid role for a Sr Software Engineer B3 focuses on designing and building high quality mobile applications using Swift Package Manager React Native React Js Kotlin Java for mobile devices and modern dependency injection patterns. The engineer will craft scalable mobile app architecture collaborate with cross functional teams and ensure robust delivery for digital products in cards and payments.
Responsibilities
- Design develop and maintain robust mobile applications using Swift Package Manager Kotlin Java for mobile devices React Native and React Js to deliver secure and scalable digital experiences for customers
- Implement clean architecture and modular mobile app design to ensure maintainability testability and long term resilience of complex applications
- Create reusable components and libraries for mobile platforms using Compose React Native and Ionic Capacitor to accelerate development and improve consistency across products
- Apply dependency injection patterns across mobile codebases to improve separation of concerns enhance test coverage and simplify future enhancements
- Collaborate with product design and backend engineering peers in a hybrid work model to refine requirements and translate them into high quality technical solutions
- Optimize mobile app performance by profiling critical paths tuning rendering pipelines and improving startup times to provide responsive user experiences
- Integrate mobile applications with secure backend services and payment gateways while adhering to organizational standards for data protection and regulatory compliance
- Conduct thorough code reviews unit testing and integration testing to maintain code quality reduce defects and support reliable day to day releases
- Troubleshoot production issues by analyzing logs metrics and user feedback to identify root causes and deliver timely corrective actions
- Document technical designs architectural decisions and best practices to support knowledge sharing and consistent implementation across multiple mobile projects
- Coordinate with quality engineering partners to define test strategies automate critical user journeys and ensure mobile app reliability on diverse devices and operating systems
- Contribute to continuous improvement by evaluating new tools frameworks and patterns in mobile development and sharing recommendations with the wider engineering community
- Participate in solutioning for cards and payments initiatives by applying domain awareness to design secure and intuitive customer journeys across mobile channels
Qualifications
- Demonstrate strong hands on experience in Swift Package Manager Kotlin Java for mobile devices React Native and React Js with a proven track record of delivering complex mobile applications
- Exhibit practical knowledge of dependency injection Compose and Ionic Capacitor with an ability to explain design choices and tradeoffs in simple terms
- Show depth in mobile app design and architecture including modularization navigation patterns state management and offline capabilities
- Apply sound understanding of secure coding practices in mobile environments especially when working with payment data and sensitive customer information
- Bring familiarity with cards and payments domain concepts such as transaction flows authentication and risk controls as a desirable advantage
- Work effectively in a hybrid model by communicating proactively managing time independently and collaborating across locations without frequent travel
- Utilize strong problem solving and analytical skills to address ambiguous requirements propose feasible options and drive them to completion
Certifications Required
Any one of Google Associate Android Developer Apple Certified iOS Developer or Meta React Native certification is preferred
