Required Skills and Knowledge

Your responsibilities will include preparing surfaces for coating through various methods such as cleaning, sanding, masking, or applying pre-treatment chemicals. Operating both manual and automated powder coating equipment, you will meticulously apply coatings to components, maintaining the correct thickness and finish quality. Monitoring oven temperatures and curing cycles will be essential to guarantee optimal adhesion and finish.

In addition, you will be responsible for inspecting coated items for defects, performing touch-ups or rework as necessary, and upholding the cleanliness of coating booths, equipment, and work areas. Adhering to safety protocols, including the proper utilization of personal protective equipment (PPE) and ventilation systems, will be a top priority. Keeping detailed records of daily production, materials used, and process parameters is crucial for maintaining efficiency and quality.
