Postgresql-Database Administrator

As a Database Designer/Administrator with Erwin experience, you will be responsible for designing, managing, optimizing, and securing databases to ensure high availability, performance, and compliance for TnD Project applications. Your primary focus will be on operational database management, data modeling, automation, backup strategies, query optimization, and system observability. You will collaborate closely with Database Architects, DevOps Teams, and Security Engineers to achieve the following objectives: Design and manage logical and physical data models using Erwin Data Modeler to ensure scalable and optimized database structures. Work with Database Architects to implement schema design changes, define data relationships, and optimize indexing strategies. Implement high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) strategies for mission-critical databases to ensure data resilience and continuity during unforeseen events. Monitor and optimize database performance, indexing, and query execution by utilizing advanced analytics tools for proactive analysis and tuning. Automate database provisioning, patching, and maintenance workflows using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to streamline operational tasks and enhance efficiency. Ensure security best practices and compliance with industry standards such as SOC2, GDPR, and internal IT audit policies by implementing access control, encryption measures, and regular security patching. In addition, you will be expected to work collaboratively with Database Architects, DevOps Engineers, and Security Teams to implement scalable database solutions, support developers in optimizing SQL queries, manage schema changes efficiently, and ensure compliance with regulatory and IT policies. Your success in this role will be measured by your ability to optimize database performance and reliability for TnD applications, establish secure and compliant data management strategies, automate database maintenance workflows, and proactively monitor and optimize costs for efficient resource utilization.
