Role & responsibilities Monitor patients in the post-anesthesia care unit (PACU) and OT recovery rooms. Conduct regular clinical assessments and document recovery progress. Manage vital signs, wound care, fluid balance, and pain management. Collaborate with surgeons, anesthetists, and ICU teams for coordinated care. Respond to emergencies. Ensure infection control and post-op safety protocols are followed. Educate patients and attendants on post-operative care and discharge instructions.
