Position Summary

PGT Mathematics Teacher

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Mathematics to

  Classes IX& XII strictly as per CBSE curriculum and guidelines

  .
• Deliver complex concepts (Algebra, Calculus, Trigonometry, Probability, Geometry, Statistics, etc.) with clarity and application-based learning.
  
• Prepare students effectively for

  CBSE Board Examinations

  , focusing on high scores and excellence in competency-based assessments.
• Design lesson plans aligned with CBSE competencies, Blooms Taxonomy, and NEP 2020 objectives.
  
• Integrate

  digital platforms, smart class resources, and AI-based teaching tools

  to maximize engagement and learning.
• Monitor student performance, provide remedial and enrichment support, and consistently track progress towards academic goals.
  
• Conduct practice papers, mock exams, and provide personalized strategies to improve board results.
  
• Collaborate with colleagues for inter-disciplinary teaching, school events, and professional development workshops.
  

Qualifications & Requirements

• Masters Degree (M.Sc./M.A.) in Mathematics from a recognized university.
  
• B.Ed. (mandatory as per CBSE norms).
  

• Minimum 3–5 years of teaching experience in Mathematics for Classes XI & XII (CBSE Board).

• In-depth understanding of

  CBSE curriculum, assessment framework, marking scheme, and board paper trends.

• Strong communication, mentoring, and classroom management skills.
  

Preferred Skills

• Proven track record of helping students achieve

  excellent results in CBSE Board Exams

  .
• Familiarity with

  CBSE sample papers, question bank creation, and board exam evaluation patterns

  .
• Ability to

  leverage technology, digital platforms, and AI tools

  for teaching-learning processes.
• Experience in preparing students for

  competitive exams (JEE/CUET/Math Olympiads)

  will be an added advantage.
