Position in Service

We are a foreign owned luxury boutique hotel in the heart of Fort Cochin, run to high standards and serving a high end clientele.

Looking for a hard working experienced Service Person/Waiter to join our team in a small 7 bedroom. A decent proficiency in English is required as our guests are mostly foreigners.

Experience preferred, either in the hospitality industry or working in F&B. References needed.

Tasks to include (but not limited to):

• laying tables for breakfast, lunch and dinner
• taking F&B orders at the restaurant, around the pool and in common areas
• liaising with the kitchen
• serving meals and drinks
• clearing tables after meals and in common areas during the day
• ensuring cleanliness of all F&B related areas
• responsible for all restaurant matters (linen, chinaware, glassware, inventories, etc)

We will provide basic training and you will work directly with our Assistant Manager who is Heads of Service.

Free accommodation provided, if needed, for male applicants in our clean and spacious staff quarters which are within walking distance. Meals provided at the hotel.

Salary level will depend on a number of criteria ranging from previous experience and if applicable, number of years, foreign language proficiency, etc...

Potential candidates must be willing to get up early to prepare for breakfast and work late (shift will end after last dinner guests retire to their rooms or leave the hotel) with their main break to be taken in the afternoon.

Pay: ₹9,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
