Portfolio Program Manager

You will be responsible for the position of Senior Manager 2-EM IT - Portfolio Program Manager at our Mumbai location. We are seeking an individual with at least 8 years of experience in IT program and portfolio management, preferably within the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry. Your role will involve managing complex and large value programs with cross-functional teams, ensuring compliance with pharma environment requirements, and handling digital transformation, ERP, CRM deployments, and other complex projects. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the overall IT project and program portfolio across various business units such as Commercial, Finance, Supply Chain, HR, R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, and Corporate. You will be expected to define and maintain portfolio governance frameworks in alignment with business objectives, lead large-scale IT programs, drive cross-functional coordination, and champion change management and stakeholder engagement. Additionally, you will need to track and mitigate risks, manage budgets, and support business case development. To excel in this role, you must possess excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Proficiency with project portfolio tools such as Zoho, MS Project Online, Asana, etc., is essential. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and hybrid project management approaches is preferred. The ability to multitask, understand business processes from a customer perspective, and work effectively in a team environment are crucial. Being result-oriented, adaptable, flexible, and resourceful is also key to success. In terms of qualifications, a BE/ BTECH/BCOM/MBA degree is required. A PMP Certification would be advantageous. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 8 years of experience in business/customer-facing roles, demonstrating expertise in IT Program and Portfolio Management, Stakeholder Communication, Agile & Project Management, Vendor Management, and Change Management.,
