As a Plumber at Gokulam Grand Hotel, Trivandrum, a premier five-star business hotel, you will have the opportunity to showcase your skills and reliability by joining our Engineering team. With 1 to 4 years of hands-on plumbing experience, preferably in a hospitality or commercial setting, you will play a crucial role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of the hotel's water supply, drainage, and related plumbing systems. Your dedication to ensuring guest satisfaction and operational efficiency will be key in providing a seamless experience for our guests at all times. Your key responsibilities will include installing, maintaining, and repairing water supply lines, drainage systems, and associated fixtures such as faucets, valves, toilets, and water heaters. You will be expected to inspect and troubleshoot plumbing systems, promptly respond to guest room maintenance requests, and address plumbing-related complaints effectively. Adhering to scheduled preventive maintenance as per hotel standards, maintaining accurate records, and working in compliance with safety standards and regulations will be essential aspects of your role. Additionally, you will collaborate with other maintenance staff to uphold the general upkeep of hotel facilities, ensuring cleanliness and proper functioning of tools, equipment, and work areas. To excel in this position, you should possess an ITI/Diploma in Plumbing or equivalent technical qualification along with a minimum of 1 year of plumbing experience, preferably in hotels, hospitals, or commercial buildings. A good understanding of piping systems, pumps, valves, water heaters, and drainage solutions is vital, as is the ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Your strong problem-solving skills, time management abilities, and a service-oriented approach will be instrumental in delivering high-quality work. Flexibility to work rotational shifts, including weekends and public holidays, is expected to support hotel operations effectively.
