PLSQL Lead

We are seeking a seasoned Lead PL/SQL Developer to spearhead our database migration initiatives, specifically transitioning from MSSQL to Oracle. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Oracle PL/SQL development, strong leadership capabilities, and hands-on experience in managing complex data migration projects. This role is critical to ensuring data integrity, performance optimization, and seamless transition across platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end migration projects from MSSQL to Oracle databases.
• Design, develop, and optimize PL/SQL procedures, packages, triggers, and functions.
• Analyze existing MSSQL schemas, stored procedures, and data models for migration planning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define migration strategies and timelines.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity throughout the migration process.
• Troubleshoot and resolve migration-related issues and performance bottlenecks.
• Document migration processes, scripts, and technical decisions.
• Mentor junior developers and oversee code reviews and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in Oracle PL/SQL development.
• Proven experience in migrating large-scale databases from MSSQL to Oracle.
• Strong understanding of relational database concepts, normalization, and indexing.
• Proficiency in performance tuning and query optimization.
• Familiarity with data migration tools and ETL processes.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
