Primary Skills: - Proficiency in Solid Edge wiring design and Solid Edge Electrical routing - Strong knowledge in the Wiring harness domain - Experience in harness design solutions within a CAD environment and adherence to internal design standards - Ability to select wires, terminals, and connectors for electrical devices - Understanding of electrical network analysis, product schematics, wiring diagrams, and their translation to wiring harness design - Application of drafting rules and principles (ASME Y14.5M) and development of company standards - Knowledge of harness manufacturing processes and engineering drawing development Secondary Skills: - Designing schematics and wiring diagrams using Solid Edge - Wiring design & electrical routing based on provided inputs - Developing 3D harness design routing using Solid Edge electrical routing - Flattening harness in a 3D environment and creating parametric drawings in Solid Edge Harness design - 3D modeling of Electrical components and drawing development - Preparation of Engineering documentation, bill of materials, and change notices - Completion of the release process on Windchill / team center PLM tool - Adherence to design and drafting standard practices - Independent support for Design Engineering projects and collaboration with other design engineers - Ability to work from engineering instructions, procedures, drawings, and sketches - Commitment to meeting Quality and delivery standards exceeding 95% At frog, we believe in Equal Opportunities and foster a culture of diversity, inclusion, and collaboration.
