PLC Programmer

As a PLC Programmer at WTT International, you will play a crucial role in programming, testing, and troubleshooting Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) utilized in water treatment systems and various industrial applications. Your expertise in industrial automation, particularly in PLC programming, SCADA design, and HMI engineering using Beckhoff systems, will be essential in ensuring the efficiency and reliability of our water treatment solutions. Your primary work location will be in Tiruppur, with occasional travel to project sites in Rajasthan, Ahmedabad, Madhya Pradesh, and Punjab. In this role, you will collaborate with engineers and operators to optimize the functionality and performance of water treatment systems, develop and implement SCADA systems for process monitoring, and integrate control logic using Structured Text programming. Your proficiency in .NET solutions for system interfaces and communication will be beneficial in enhancing automation processes. Key Responsibilities: - Program and configure PLCs for water treatment and industrial applications to ensure optimal functionality. - Develop, test, and troubleshoot PLC programs supporting water treatment systems. - Design and implement SCADA systems for process monitoring and control. - Utilize TwinCAT HMI engineering for system integration and user interface development. - Develop control logic using Structured Text programming. - Implement and troubleshoot .NET solutions for system interfaces and communication. - Provide on-site support for system troubleshooting, maintenance, and upgrades at project sites. - Continuously improve automation processes to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime. - Maintain documentation for programming logic, SCADA configurations, and system parameters. Qualifications: - Experience: Proven experience in PLC programming, testing, and troubleshooting. - Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of industrial automation systems and control logic, especially with Beckhoff PLCs. - Programming Skills: Proficiency in Structured Text for PLC programming. - .NET Experience: Knowledge of .NET development for industrial control and communication systems preferred. - Water Treatment Understanding: Familiarity with water treatment processes is advantageous. - Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; proficiency in SCADA systems and HMI interfaces. - Education: Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field. - Additional Skills: Expertise in TwinCAT HMI engineering highly preferred. - Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel to project sites as required.,
