PLC Programmer - Sr. Engineer

Role & responsibilities

We are looking for skilled and experienced PLC Programmer and Drive Configuration Specialist responsible for programming, configuring, and troubleshooting Siemens and Mitsubishi PLC systems Servo Drives , as well as configuring and commissioning variable frequency drives (VFDs) and other industrial automation components.

Responsibilities:

PLC Programming:

• Develop, debug, and maintain PLC/IPC programs for Siemens (s7 SERIES, S7-1200, S7-1500) and Mitsubishi (e.g., FX, Q, iQ-R series) systems.
• Create logic diagrams, ladder logic, function block diagrams, and structured text programming.
• Optimize and test PLC programs to ensure reliable and efficient operation of automated systems.

Drive Configuration:

• Configure, parameterize and commission Siemens (e.g., Sinamics, Simotion ) and Mitsubishi drives (e.g., FR series).
• Set up communication protocols like Profinet, Profibus, Modbus, and Ethernet/IP.
• Troubleshoot and resolve drive-related issues, including motor control and power settings.

System Integration:

• Integrate PLCs and drives with other industrial components, such as HMI (Human-Machine Interface), SCADA systems, and sensors.
• Ensure seamless communication and synchronization between PLCs, drives, and external devices.

Troubleshooting and Maintenance:

• Perform diagnostics and resolve hardware and software issues in PLCs, drives, and control systems.
• Conduct regular preventive maintenance and system upgrades.
