PLC Programmer

QUALIFICATION REQUIRED - ITI/DIPLOMA OR BE ELECTRICAL WITH 10+ YRS PLC PROGRAMMING EXPERIENCE

An electrical PLC engineer is responsible for the design, programming, implementation, and maintenance of programmable logic controller (PLC) systems to automate industrial processes. Their duties include developing PLC code, creating electrical schematics, troubleshooting system issues, conducting tests to ensure reliability, collaborating with other teams, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Key Responsibilities

• System Design & Development:
• Design, develop, and implement PLC control systems for automated processes and equipment.
• Create electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts using CAD software.
• Select appropriate electrical components and equipment for control systems.
• Programming & Testing:
• Develop and modify PLC code using languages like ladder logic and sequential function charts.
• Test and validate PLC programs to ensure optimal functionality, quality, and efficiency.
• Troubleshooting & Maintenance:
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issues related to PLC hardware and software.
• Perform root cause analysis for control system failures to ensure reliability.
• Maintain and update existing PLC systems and programs.
• Collaboration & Support:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical and electrical engineers, maintenance, and production staff.
• Provide technical support, guidance, and training to other team members and plant personnel.
• Documentation & Compliance:
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for PLC systems.
• Ensure that all designs and systems comply with industry standards and safety regulations.

Required Skills

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in PLC programming languages, CAD software, automation principles, and understanding of electrical systems.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities for diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues.
• Communication: Strong oral and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with teams and communicate technical information.
• Project Management: Ability to manage and organize projects, prioritize tasks, and work with minimal supervision.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
