Role & responsibilities This position will work closely with the control panel design and fabrication teams for drawing reviews, quality acceptance, and setup/configuration of devices before shipment. Write, update and review coding and scripts on RSLogix 5000 platform to ensure that computer programming will work in tandem with field automation components like PLCs (Allen Bradley), analyzers, scopes, and meters. Write, review and rewrite programming for touch-screen Operator HMI Systems using Indusoft by Wonderware Develop programs for our SCADA Systems using Visual Basic dotNet and install, configure and program Relational Databases such as MySQL, MariaDB and MS SQL Server using Navicat Premium Software. Write functional descriptions of control equipment and provide necessary information for compilation of equipment manuals. Assist with installation of the equipment throughout the startup phase at clients facility. This position requires an estimated travel of 20-30% within India as well as international locations. Preferred candidate profile Knowledgeable in of all major aspects of controls and automation engineering including 24V to 480V systems and NEC, UL, CE, and NFPA design and compliance requirements. Minimum 3 years of experience in Industrial Machine Automation field Working knowledge of installing and tuning PID controllers Understanding of electrical hardware, drawings, sequence control, ladder logic, and software design Autocad Electrical, RSLogix 5000, Indusoft, Visual Basic proficiency required Experience with Siemens PLC systems is desired Experience setting up Database Servers is desired Experience with SCADA software such as Wonderware, Intellution, and LabView is desired.
