Playwright associate

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Test Automation Engineer with hands-on experience in Playwright to join our QA team. As a Playwright associate, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks and test scripts to ensure the highest quality for our web applications. This role requires 3-8 years of experience in Quality Engineering, Agile practices, Software Testing Lifecycle, and processes. Key Responsibilities: - Working as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with expertise in Java, API Automation, SQL, CI/CD, and adopting/customizing the latest frameworks based on project requirements. - Implementing Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) practices within the project and knowledge in Informatica and Splunk toolsets. - Creating automation solutions by understanding the Technology landscape and Architecture to optimize the Test cycle and efforts. - Utilizing GenAI Copilot to identify use cases for productivity improvement. - Experience in creating Test Strategy, reporting metrics, Defect triaging, and implementing Transformation levers. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills for customer-facing roles and stakeholder management. - Proactively identifying, reporting, and mitigating risks until closure. - Good to have knowledge in the insurance domain. This is a full-time position with a hybrid work mode located in Chennai, Coimbatore, Bangalore, Kolkata, or Kochi. The work schedule is during the day shift.
