This role is pivotal in accelerating delivery cycles while maintaining high product quality. By automating critical test scenarios and integrating them into the CI/CD pipeline, youll help reduce manual testing effort, catch defects early, and ensure faster, more reliable releases-directly impacting customer satisfaction and business agility. WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR Youll be responsible for building and maintaining robust test automation frameworks for both UI and API layers. Using tools like, Playwright, Postman, youll ensure the quality and reliability of enterprise-grade applications. Youll also contribute to CI/CD pipelines, work in Agile teams, and collaborate across functions. We are seeking a skilled and proactive Test Automation Engineer with hands-on experience in Playwright to join our QA team. As a Playwright associate, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks and test scripts to ensure the highest quality for our web applications. This role requires 3-8 years of experience in Quality Engineering, Agile practices, Software Testing Lifecycle, and processes. Key Responsibilities: - Working as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with expertise in Java, API Automation, SQL, CI/CD, and adopting/customizing the latest frameworks based on project requirements. - Implementing Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) practices within the project and knowledge in Informatica and Splunk toolsets. - Creating automation solutions by understanding the Technology landscape and Architecture to optimize the Test cycle and efforts. - Utilizing GenAI Copilot to identify use cases for productivity improvement. - Experience in creating Test Strategy, reporting metrics, Defect triaging, and implementing Transformation levers. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills for customer-facing roles and stakeholder management. - Proactively identifying, reporting, and mitigating risks until closure. - Good to have knowledge in the insurance domain.
